Try removing (uninstalling) Web Protection by Bitdefender.

This bit defender thinks it is prot4cting you because there is an input control on the login page with a "type" attribute equal to "password, and the site you are logging into is http instead of https. ATS does not have an SSL so your only optuon is to deal with it from within bitdedender.

Good point. Since EternalSolace has lots of stars and flags, he/she has obviously logged in and posted frequently.

I think someone else logged into ES's account, and started this thread.

From the context it is clear, that OP means the OP cannot attempt to login while having Bitdefender enabled.

And the answer likely is that, for reasons unknown, ATS continues to refuses to use Secure HTTP.

I've thinking about this for a couple of years now. If Secure HTTP (https://) is used, functionality, from the ATS owner/admin vantage point, might be reduced. That's the unscientific conclusion I've come to.

This was the issue... I finally got determined enough to go through bitdefender settings one by one... or section by section. BitDefender does NOT like ATS. The Online Threat Protection prevents one from logging into ATS.

Problem now solved as I can now login on my new PC.
