Remember that the Woman’s March, the largest single day protests in American history, was largely about Trump’s ill-fated words more than decade earlier. Only after the non-event was sensationalized by the media could such a protest occur.

The same was with the “sh-t hole” comment. How else could a private conversation receive so much international condemnation, unless it was made sensational by a profit-mongering press?

Sorry but it's not mandatory to watch CNN, read any of the Posts or whatever. Last time I checked the media was a free market in the US.
They are called mass media because the mass is watching them. Have you really spoken to everyone who consumes those about what they think when they do?
To be against a free press is to be again free speech. Maybe you'd be happier in China?

Maybe the problem today is what people are defining a "media". I don't consider much of what we have today as "press" in the traditional sense.

This has nothing to do with the free press or trying to adopt authoritarian views.

She is simply pointing out the poison that is permeating from the media that spreads all throughout society, and she is correct.

But thanks to free speech, they are well within their right to continue brainwashing the masses, just as we are well within our right to call them out on it.

In the end though, nothing will change, the world will continue to spin, the sun will continue to set and society will continue to live happily as expendable sheep.

The trick is to somehow find solace within the madness, and maybe just accepting our doomed fate is one way to do it.

I work in media, Union proud, Union Strong, for political campaigns, commercials, Reality TV and feature films.

If you are unhappy with the current system; get off your lazy butts and become the new Alex Jones.

He created an empire thru public access TV in Austin Texas.

Free press paid for and bought by Ted Turner and George Soros isn't free.

I'm weary of the turmoil in my country which has been continuously added to and instigated by the media.

It breaks my heart to see issues reemerge stronger and even less resolved than before the tv anchors put their spin on it.

It was personal when people I knew were the news... I never liked the way the media operated to strike nerves (fear, etc). Now each new issue that seems to drive a new wedge, turning every. single. person against one another.

They don't see what they're doing?

“Free” as in : ‘free’ to report on facts regardless who those facts hurt and regardless what the government or any corporations think of those facts.
‘Free’ to investigate and report regardless what the owners of the press think or want.
‘Free’, with no agenda.
