My country is telling me that we cannot pay for Social Security and Medicare past the early 2030's. My nations media continually tells me that automation will reduce the number of jobs in country.

My country seems to be planning on abandoning taking care of its own citizens but seems to have an obsession with bringing the rest of the world's citizens here, for what? Hastening the fall......?

Did the citizens of this country pay social security taxes for 50 years to simply give it away to other nations citizens?

Think about it.

A complex series of problems - I agree - Maybe could be handled better? - I agree.

But much as I admire Trunps no nonsense style [sometimes] - The Wall is ridiculous
- Sounds like "The Great Wall of China" from hundreds of years ago - Out of date!

With electronic detection 'state of the art' equipment, including satellites - An unbreakable electronic wall
would be much, much cheaper - And more effective than a brick and mortar physical wall.
- This is the 21st Century, not the Middle Ages!

A wall isn't going to fix bad policies. How about we spend 1/100 of the wall money to revamp our immigration system. Instead of shutting down governments, let's get more immigration courts, crack down on business ' using illegals, and get rid of any loop holes that gives social aid to illegals.

No need for a wall (that will cost much more than 5 billion) to prevent illegals from wanting to come here. No job opportunities, or aid, then no incentive to come.
