Investigation Reveals US Sportsware Made In Chinese Concentration Camp by "Re-Educated" Muslims

China, the new blueprint for the future. A future where a communist state controls the population, the speech, and tyranny rules. Here is an example of a "re-education job training program" with guard towers, armed guards, and barbed wire where people work as slave labor. This AP story is a wake-up call for freedom loving peoples around the globe.

apnews.com...

HOTAN, China (AP) — Barbed wire and hundreds of cameras ring a massive compound of more than 30 dormitories, schools, warehouses and workshops in China’s far west. Dozens of armed officers and a growling Doberman stand guard outside.

Behind locked gates, men and women are sewing sportswear that can end up on U.S. college campuses and sports teams.

This is one of a growing number of internment camps in the Xinjiang region, where by some estimates 1 million Muslims are detained, forced to give up their language and their religion and subject to political indoctrination. Now, the Chinese government is also forcing some detainees to work in manufacturing and food industries. Some of them are within the internment camps; others are privately owned, state-subsidized factories where detainees are sent once they are released.

Posters line the barbed-wire perimeter, bearing messages such as “Learn to be grateful, learn to be an upright person” and “No need to pay tuition, find a job easily.”

Nathan Ruser, a cyber-policy researcher at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), analyzed satellite images for the AP and found that in Hetian Taida’s case, the apparel factory and the government-run training camp are connected by a fenced path.

“There are watchtowers throughout,” Ruser said. “There are clear fences between the buildings and walls that limit movement. Detainees can only access the factories area through walkways, and the entire facility is closed.”

Some detainees told AP earlier this year about beating, solitary confinement and other punishments if they do not recite political songs, names and phrases. The AP has not been given access to these facilities despite repeated attempts to get permission to visit.

Why don't we rattle the saber with China? Because we know the money they give us moves our leaders to sell their country out.

Traitors to the human race. That is what they are.

I wonder how many multi national Corps. are going to jump on this? A slave run Corporatocracy where they don't have to pay people. Hell with China's new online social credit scoring system, they have an over abundance of potential employees erm slaves.

This kind of slave labor deal is nothing new, the chocolate you eat is made by child slaves in west Africa for example. Best to turn a blind eye unless you want to pay more for stuff. Tax havens, slave labor, it's the corporations way.

Exactly why we should stop fueling their economic and thus their military power.

Of course it's nothing new. We have our own version in our Corporate run prisons here in the states. Eat Tilapia? Odds are they are from a prison farm right here in the US.

Someday Americans will begin to care. I hope. The "re-education" through forced labor system has been utilized by the Chinese Communist Party to supply many mainstream retailers, clothing and manufacturing. Yet we continue to turn a blind eye. Uigurs, Christians, Falun Gong, poltical dissidents, have all been used in this system.

It used to be specifically legal to be sentenced up to three years forced labor with no charges or due process. A couple of years ago, they claimed they abandoned the system, but really just moved the camps to more secret/secluded locations.

I don't think boycotts or anything like that is truly going to develop into anything. People just need to raise awareness and keep exposing the truth until the media and leadership is no longer afraid of calling them out in a direct manner.

Americans tend to try and compare their problems here as if they are similar or we have no room to talk. There is no comparison to what goes on in that Communist Regime. None whatsoever.

Where are those Islamic "freedom fighters" now?

They are so tough when going against unnamed people.

One million enslaved Muslims and they can't stand up against a few armed guards?

Indeed, we have a similar private prison enterprise here in oz where they make everything from food and clothing for within the prison system as well as many different items for export, it's big business.

Those are people convicted of crimes through due process. They are not people rounded up because they live in a resource rich area and refuse to leave, or political and religious groups that don't tow the Communist Party Line. This is not a glass houses issue.

Big difference. Criminal prisoners is a bit different than rounding up neighborhoods and placing them in camps for no crime.

Not much difference in some places in the US these days.
Prisons should not be private.
