Why is this site so Glitchy?

I feel like when I was on dial up 25 years ago.

Pages don't load
can't star
can't reply without double triple post or worse
So slow

Why?

I noticed it feels bogged down lately because of the number of ads on screen at a time.

who knows maybe someone is middle manning all the site data

The only problem I experience is that very rarely the "New Topics" page takes a few seconds to load, but other than that I haven't had the issues described in OP. I view the site using Chrome browser on both PC & Android.

Yeah i click post then play a game of chess then come back to see if its loaded.

It's always fine for me.

On my PC (windows and chrome)

And on IPhone (safari)

And on Android (chrome)...

I'm not a tech freak, the iPhone and PC belong to work, my phone is the crappy Android one.

But yeah no probs or glitches.

I get a slowdown at half past the hour.

When that happens, one should do nothing but wait....or else the dreaded double/triple post will happen.

Same for me, i am on 200meg broadband in the UK and ATS is the only site i have issues with....

Whatever you do don’t use an ad blocker, I don’t use one, I haven’t been using one for about a month now and it defiantly hasn’t solved all my issues on ATS.

It's the "Update Your Flash Player" new tab that opens when I'm on ATS, that I can't figure out.

On mobile, a page completely replaces the ATS page, telling me that I'm eligible for a new I-Phone. When I close that tab, ATS (and where I was on ATS) is closed as well.

Me either...on none of my devices. Site performs without issues mentioned

I had no problem till I read this thread then immediately loading was slower. Perhaps it's our expectations influencing our devices.
