Well I just had a couple tears from watching this video.

It’s amazing how animals of differing species, can show more compassion for one another than we as humans do on a daily basis. I think some of us just need a gentle reminder - be the best person you can be, everyday.

How about some Buffaloes saving the life of a baby Elephant attacked by a pride of Lions.

The end of the video I posted made me sad.
The dog trying to rescue his buddy who just got hit by a car.
And that cat trying to wake up his buddy that died on the road...then he lays down beside him.

Sometimes they show compassion, just as many humans do on a day to day basis.
Other times, out in the wild, they are devouring each other, and compassion is the farthest thing from their mind.

But i thought Lions were King of the Jungle. Maybe it's the Buffalo.

It looked like the baby elephant was a goner..was relieved to see him get up and walk away.

Great videos..All

Baboons in Africa have worked out a similar system with Warthogs,

OP reminds me of the time when a Lioness adopted a baby Antelope, it's both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time,
