i'm thinking about applying for a job with the ESA as an aerospace engineer...

my question is this:

does the ESA get involved in any top secret projects? I have looked around this site but not heard any theories on the ESA.... i'd like to get myself on a job avenue that might lead to some interesting secret work lol...

any ideas?

Well, The I think you have to speak French before you get to the secret project, they have the ambition to want to hang with the big boys....The other European are viewed by the world as socialist peaceniks and therefor nobody is interested in researching any Dr. Evil programs they might have.

For example, that new Ariane-5 ECA that was launched recently, they told the media it contained 1 communication satellite and a 6000 lbs "dummy" load for testing purposes (the previous time something went wrong with launch so not much investors to let it ride on this maiden trip, seeing first is believing afterwareds)

anyways, who says that dummy load couldnt have been one of those hypothised spysatellites with a stealth conic inflatable radar deflector skin ???

The Brits have loads of black programs, but they hang tight with the U.S on such projects, to share the info and costs.
