Just under the NASA logo, in the top left of the screen.

Okay, it's probably not a giant space snake. But what is it? Is it a piece of the space station? I starts to disappear at the 47 second mark. Is it a natural weather phenomena in our atmosphere?

What is that on the top right corner?

The "snake" looks to me like either a hair, or a scratch on the lens....

Both object are on the lens....right looks to be a smudge of some sort.

They move with the camera and not the earth so they are on the lens itself.

Exactly and it fades because of the angle of lighting from the sun

Cool pic but....it's exaggerated curve...

Tell in by the dimension of cloud height at diff et ent distances.....vs the apparent curve

I just spot this stuff....yeah iss at what 240 miles up

Looks like one of Bob Bigelow's pubic hairs attempting a daring escape from his BEAM module.

But I could be mistaken.

That snake was sent by Space Commander MIKE PENCE to weaken Florence. She's now down to a CAT-2 hurricane.

Something is on or in the camera, basically.

It starts to disappear, because the lighting angle changes as the craft orbits the planet, moving such that light no longer shines directly onto the lens cover, therefore no longer illuminating and picking out in detail, that object. I would imagine its a hair, or a scratch.

if it's part of the camera/space station, why does it fade away at the 46 - 47 second mark?

because its a scratch or smudge that is catching light,

as it moves it simply moves to where the reflecting light doesn't look the same due to the spacecrafts motion.

What is all make believe? Do you think the ISS is fake or something? Do tell.

It's a vacuum noodle for sure. Coincidence that the ISS is also short for International Snaek Station? I think not!

I think it is much lower in altitude, and is a meteor vapor trail twisting up in the various atmospheric layers. If you see a large fireball from the ground and the sky is dark enough, as you stare at the trail, you can see it distorting and twisting up in real time. I think that is what is caught on this video.

eManym and TrueBrit nailed it.

That's some sort of small wire or string hanging in front of the lens. There's no detail because it is out of focus, and it fades because something blocks the light that is hitting it as the camera moves.

It's apparently enough to mess with the AI circuitry too... at two separate points, it seems to pixellate. That's the AI circuitry that stabilizes the image trying to deal with something that obviously shouldn't be there.

The foam monster is something on the lens.
