XBOX Linux with no modchip!

the story behind this is pretty cool. these guys had been trying for a month to talk to MS and threatened them with this exploit.

That's what I love about the X-Box, it is basically a gaming PC. Actually, not basically, that is what it is. Like any PC, they are easy to exploit. I can give you some nice mod links. You can do so much more with your X-Box than what it "allows" you to do.

I actually dont own an Xbox, but I do have my PS2 already modded, got the magic 3 in there. rocks, I can boot right to my dvd-r's. I might purchase one eventually when the next version of the console comes out. I've read, and heard first hand that the hardware is of extremely high quality. we'll have to see
