And well said.

You know in BTS jokes and stuff, it's fine. But when it's a rebuttal to an ATS topic or political debate, it makes me want to call that person's parents. I don't care if the poster is 65 with grandkids, I still want to slap their parents.

It's like don't you cringe every time they lower the price of dial up? Oh great, now it's $9.99 with more access numbers than ever in new areas. Suddenly it's 1989 all over again. Another 10 million idiots discovering the joys of flaming and laughing out loud. Super.

Suddenly anyone that will listen is google. What's the NWO?
Anyone here ever hear of the Rapture?

Or they've been on-line 3 days and suddenly are google. None of you people have any idea what you're talking about!!!!!!!!!!
Good thing I bought a computer!!!

Emoticons. :shk: They make me want to :bnghd: But what are ya going do?

Yeah, BTS is no big deal for that stuff. On ATS having a dozen smiles is the same as having a one line response. It doesn't add to the thread. I like people expressing their opinions but it would be nice to see more text and less smiles.
This is a pet peeve for some but its not as if the boards are being bombarded by mass smilies.

Heh...

RANT got what I was talking about.

I've seen way too many good arguments killed with a line of #ing smilies 237 miles long. As soon as I see that I just stop reading.

It just makes me want to wire the flapping jaws shut, and blacken the rolling eyes.

Although this is my dude:
