Totally agree with you assessment. I find the whole thing deeply disturbing and here's why. Full disclosure, I do not view John McCain in high regard for a number of reasons. All of you know what those are, they have been discussed a number of times here. I'm going to paraphrase Q here. First, he stated McCain's departure was not of his choosing. Not long after that he stated that some things need to remain hidden with regards to his death. Kasich has a slip and says he was put to death. So means and motive, both the black and white hats had the means and motive. The black hats would have every reason to see him dead. He knew where all the bodies are buried and was in a bad spot. One only need to look no farther than the Clintons to see that problems have a weird way of going away before they turn into an issue. The possibility of white hats being involved is what disturbs me. I consider myself a white hat. As such, I believe this country runs on the rule of law. The rule of law means that its done in the open not in secret. Whether by civilian court or military tribunal, the accused is given all opportunity to a defense and those proceeding are open to public scrutiny. Anything other than that is akin to the trials that many a dictator has ordered ie; the Hitler assassination trials, Hussein treason trials etc. I want to believe this was a black hat deal. If it wasn't we are no better than the black hats. Just my opinion.

Pelosi has Alzheimer's/Dementia. I'm trying to figure out how it is that she is allowed to continue in her present capacity. She is clearly intellectually compromised, beyond the point she was normally at.

My 2 cents:

White Hats gave McCain a choice and a deadline:
Either be charged, tried and be found guilty of treason either while still alive or posthumously...with his family, reputation and memory shattered...

or...

Sign a full death-bed confession of his crimes, along with death-bed affidavits testifying against others he was involved with...and be permitted to die on his own terms, be mourned as a national hero, and keep his reputation intact.

Furthermore, his confession to crimes will not be allowed to become public for many years...if at all.

He took the deal...and, as a result, was permitted to end his own life at the time and date of his choice WITHIN the period of time the offer would remain valid.

B60, true. Seems to me implication on mc was he was given a choice, as they all are, but their choice does not necessarily have to be made public. Q allowed us insight into his choice. Without Q drops there is no consideration on his death at all, only Q raises the issue, and Q says he had a choice and made a decision.

The other more subtle issue is that the game is the game, he knew what the stakes were all along.

I replied to TAT on this, just hate to see it go that way. I understand his legacy was probably worth more to him than his life. Hence the pomp and circumstance. Maybe that was the trade off. Something bigger than Teddy who totally disgraced himself in 68 and trashed any chance at the presidency. He was given a decent, appropriate send off. McCain's send off was bigger than former Presidents. That's just ego.
