We've had so much rain here and some quakes, and volcano activity, I tell ya , I 'm going to make a post about asking what I should need to make a backpack with survival stuff to endure a tsunami. The thing is, I've been at this location which had a bad tsunami some 58 years ago, the other day the community sent out a notice where to high tall it if one occurs, and I've been here 18 years. So I really think something is cooking.

how does one prepare for an earth quake?

just More than their 10 sec spot 1 or 2 times i mean ..... it needs to be longer than that like coverage a hurricane gets

how does one prepare for an earth quake?

By living under a sturdy, giant doorway with no windows or fine china. Having a thralling computer system with 24/7 global EQ coverage including your own seismographs set up every 2 miles in a 100 mile radius AND strategically placed seismographs at various depths up to 100 miles below the earths surface. It would also be handy to have a jet pack to help get you off the surface. Finally, a direct line of communication with God himself for added advanced notice.

I live in Brazil and this week we felt the EQ on Venezuela and today the one on Peru.

It is NOT common we feel EQ on neighbor countries, or even have tremors here as well.

I don't know if something's "about to blow" on the pacific region but it sure is not common.
