The joke is you cannot ever leave here and now....................there is only here and now, with thoughts appearing within it that speak of other times. You believe in the person in time and miss that all time appears within now.

So, while you try to twist scripture to incorporate it into your belief, you cannot, no matter how hard you try.

If you want to use scripture, you have to use it within the context that it has been given, otherwise, it loses all meaning and you end up creating your own God in your heart and mind as you have done.

I am not going to argue with someone who only reads Jesus and God stuff and has no comprehension of any other writings.....I had no interest in any religion prior to the revelation of the ONE and then I went and searched out the holy books and writings to confirm what I had seen................it's written in all of them.
They all point to the only.
Honestly, there will be much laughter when it is reveals itself................and maybe tears of joy.

After our discussion, I'm hoping that the author of this thread recognizes the problem that exists with trying to combine the two. They may share similarities, but they ARE NOT the same thing.

Let me try to explain this in a way that may (or may not) make sense to you when using your brain.

We were created in the image of God, but while we were created in that image, that does not make us God.

That's like trying to say that the image we see of ourselves in a mirror makes it our clone or makes up our true selves, but hopefully, our brain is able to logically think through why that can't possibly be true.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the light of all men and that He will be SEEN by everyone that is in heaven, on earth, and under the earth when He returns. Some will rejoice and some will mourn knowing that they willfully rejected Him.

In the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu explains that beings (or phenomena) that are wholly in harmony with the Tao behave in a completely natural, uncontrived way. The goal of spiritual practice for the human being is, according to Lao Tzu, the attainment of this purely natural way of behaving, as when the planets revolve around the sun. The planets effortlessly do this revolving without any sort of control, force, or attempt to revolve themselves, thus engaging in effortless and spontaneous movement.
