You've been using clothing detergent in your dishwasher?
I don't think you'll have any issues. You would have it at the time of use if there was.
Clothing detergent is designed to be low sudsing to rinse easily from clothing.
Dishwasher detergent is also low sudsing to prevent over flow during use.
The only issue I can think of is that dishwasher detergent is also high in chlorine to sanitize dishes which is not in the tide pods.
Your dishes may not have been as clean as they looked.
I doubt there will be any long term effects. LOL
Household hint: if you need to run the dishwasher but have run out of detergent use a small bit of clothing detergent and a quarter cup of chlorine
bleach.
Do not use dishwashing liquid in an automatic dishwasher. You'll wash your floor and dishes at the same time if you do. I know.
