I'm pretty sure it was derived from a Swedish word, "helsing", for a river rapids in the vicinity.

Edit: That's what I remember from 4th grade World History anyway. It was a Korean school, not American, so they could have been teaching something worth a damn by default.

I have to ask, what is so great about our government? From what I've seen the government is just a bloated waste of hard working people's money. Government is nothing but a parasite created to perpetuate economic slavery and dependence.

I've heard variations on this site, the country is falling apart, the world is taking a hit, our way of life is done as we know it.
