Starbucks music

I have not been to a Starbucks in the states for many years... However I frequent one locally several times a week. The people who work there are on a first name basis and I consider them my friends..

My question to anyone who reads this is: Have you listened to the elevator music/background music Starbucks' plays ? I joke with my friends that some of the music sounds like a water buffalo dying, which they tend to agree. It is either that or some serious modern jazz where everyone in the recording is playing off a different sheet of music..

It is corporate music and I suppose it is meant to be non offensive to almost all.. To me it just sucks..

I'm pretty sure whoever's working in the morning puts on the music in the Starbucks on my way to work. It's usually different every morning anything from jazz to old 60's rock, sometimes pop music or reggae.

I've never been to a Starbucks.
Mc'd's coffee is good enough for me and cheaper, I usually buy it as the drink with a happy meal... £2.50 the lot.
