Your Favorite make-believe band.

We were all young once.

We were all pimply pop stars, and aspiring rock stars once.

The broom was your mic, and your screaming fan-base was adored in the mirror.

What was the name of your "private band"?
Did you have a hit, and all the bunnies and teddies liked it?

I had imaginary bands, videos and interviews!

OK, one imaginary metal band was "Tomahawk".
Their hit was "Firewater".

My favorite though was The Touch.

It was a mixture between Queen and Kiss.

Ewww ...
Yeah nowadays, I know!

When I was a kid?

Shoot, I play improv sets every now and then and each time we call ourselves something different.

Lately we have been “Uncle Thruster”.... one time we were “Steel Salami”. Sometimes we are a different band name every set.

Probably why we don’t play too often 😂

Never had a name, but I went on tour and dated several famous women as a result.

Platinum records scaling the wall of my mansion.

Yeah a bit as relevant as Robbie Williams performing at the Football World Cup.

I never did that but the other night I was talking with my daughter(24) about sharks and this idea came to me. A Metal band called the Nictitating Membranes.

When ever I would sing or pretend to be a popstar, I always imagine myself as a solo artist. Apparently I didn't want to share the stage and limelight hah.

Ever since I read Snow Crash, I decided if I ever formed a band I would name it The Meltdowns after 'Vitaly Chernobyl and the Meltdowns'.

The Nictitating Membranes you say? You could be the opening act for the world famous metal band Dissected Aorta and I heard they are touring with Japanese band Dorsal Fin Stew.

My 'band' name is a secret, but if I was in a punk rock band I'd call them 'the get rich quick scheme.'
