1. He is not accused of passing on classified information, he is accused of lying to the FBI, which is a crime. If someone lies to the FBI, they should be prosecuted. Can we both agree about that as well?
2. The mission of the free press is to provide the electorate with the facts they need to make informed decisions. Can we agree on that?
3. Reporting on what one witnesses may be "leaking," but it is not revealing "classified material." Sometimes one must violate personal trust or loyalty for the greater good.

Because sweety, what you are OK with isn't jaywalking. It falls well within our sedition laws. Making it a capital offense. As in punishable by death.
