I know ya'll can't help with the cataracts
however ATS is the last site I can read because I've got white text on a black background. Thank god for Dark Matter. Is there a way I can change the settings on my comp so that I can veiw other sites in the same manner? I'll be damned if I can figure it out.

If you are using Windows 10, go to Settings, Ease of Access and check out the color filters tab - you can invert colors and such in there. Not sure if that will work for you but it's something to play around with.

Also High Contrast settings just below the Color Filters...

Just go out and eat liver and onions once every few months and make sure to add onions to your diet. Braunsweiner works fine too.....My auto-correction only gave me an option of Budweiser for braunsweiner. I doubt if Budweiser would work, but then again I am not an expert on Budweiser.

Thiols and quercetin in onions and grapefruit may be able to help a bit.

They make retinal supplements, some people cannot turn vitamin A to retinal very well.

Thanks man. I can read other sites that way but it makes ATS too dark. I'll just have to read other sites in the morning and then change back. At least I've got the Net back.

I know quite a few people who have had cataract surgery, only a couple did not really get any better and one did get worse. Get one eye done at a time, make sure to put those drops in for the whole time required too. Some doctors up here are better than others at doing these surgeries too, make sure to ask around about the doctor doing the surgery. Word of mouth around here is pretty decent, but even if a doctor is really good, things can go wrong.

Firefox has an app that does that for every webpage you view, if you dont need to invert all your pc.

I never thought of that!
Thanks.....installing that now.
It's not called "night mode", but using that as the search, I found one I liked.

The abstract points out that: “Bilberry's flavonoids are known as potent antioxidants, scavenging free radicals and used for multiple age-related ocular disorders.” ... 70% of the rats given vitamin E had cataracts and macular degeneration, and those who received bilberry extract had none.Jul 13, 2009

I have cataracts too and have been putting off surgery. I keep hearing how it's a piece of cake, but still I put it off. I wish you well.
