Thanks, I listened back to it a few hours later and thought it could have been fx'd and eq'd a bit heavier, would you agree or did it sound alright light as it is and not lacking?

Ok. Overall, it is a rather discordant piece, but that is, I think your goal. You manage to keep it tied together fairly well until the 0:43 mark. It seems like it stumbles there, and you just couldn't quite pull it back together.
I might suggest adding a 90 or 120 bpm steady bass track to the background just to keep it stitched together a bit tighter.

OK.. The obvious learned point after 50+ yrs of recording...

A single sound.. Or piece of "music"..played thru 10 different sets and sizes and volumes of speakers.. All equalized differently....

All will sound nothing alike.. So?

This is why bands record and edit thru multiple record and playback systems..

So from headset, home to car... it will sound the same.

Metallica recorded and edited and pressed one of their later albums.. Only to be dismayed to realize the whole thing was way too "bassey" after everything.

That's the type of background rhythm I was referring too. Not too overpowering or obnoxious, just a track to keep your cadence and intro/outro timing.
