David is the father of the Savior Messiah Jesus of the world. Jesus is the Lucifer who means light bearer.

the star of david is like the black star of star wars

DARK VADOR = DAVID FOR DAVIDOR

DAVIDOR
DARVIDOR
DARKVIDOR

LUC SKYWALKER = LUC-IFER(jesus) The savior of Galaxy

Um No.
Unless you have a whole bunch of other fantasy to support your narrative.

I would guess if you are going to create a fake religion for a fictional story it would make sense to root some of it in existing dogma. I also think you might be finding correlations that aren’t there, but these are the things people think up when they have had too much to drink.

It was all based off Taoism.

I have no issue with a well supported narrative.
I have not see that yet.

A lot of people think Star Wars and the Bible tapped into identical mythological themes and archetypes. Good guys, redemption, prodigal sons, wise men, instruments of darkness etc.

Other than that I never really get into all the mystical word comparisons. In this case you're trying to compare (or conflate) a fictional name from the modern English language (Luke Skywalker who was 'Deak Starkiller' originally) with a Hebrew word transcribed in Latin and converted into 16th Century English. It doesn't work.

Try Joseph Campbell and The Heroes Journey!

And realize it was Luke “Star Killer” in the original script!

That's like the atheists saying they can be good to other people sans bible/10 commandments.

Right.

These idiots know they are just self centered animals, right? But do good?!

Without the moral governor from millennia ago that is ingrained from biblical teachings, subliminal or osmosis, they are full of # to think Jesus had no influence in their life.

I am not Jesus and could give a rats about their souls.

I kick the dust off my feet and move on.

OP is trying to do what?

I'll probably regret asking this but what does a hallucinogen have to do with Star Wars? Do you need to take it to enjoy the films? (Maybe that's what I did wrong...?)

(Personal disclosure: I am not a Star Wars fan and have deliberately not seen the movies except for the original Return of the Jedi and maybe the other one back in the 70's/80's.)

Star Wars is more about creating a new religion. I wouldn't be surprised if after 2000 we see people following Star Wars narrative as a sacred text and piece of history.

a reply to: Kolza I can remember going to many a movie and finding some sort of realization in it that no one else seems to have gotten. Conversely, I am sure I have sat through a movie, bored to tears, while someone else finds something of inner worth in its contents.

My theory is that our higher self will use anything to bring certain realizations and understandings to us, if we are willing to listen and acknowledge. Stories are age old mechanisms to teach us lessons about life, today ,movies can frequently fill that role, if we are open to them. This can occur, even when the writer of the script had no intention of making that statement.
