When stumbling across a police department’s social media page, it easy to see how out of touch law enforcement is with the rest of society. If police understood what people truly cared about, their social media pages would at least give lip service to violent crime, and they would use these platforms as propaganda tools to give the illusion that they are making people safe.

I posted a thread about UK police threatening to arrest people for speaking out against baby Alfie's state sanctioned murder.
The defenders came in here saying it was ok because of the extreme situation. Most of You Guys in the UK were ok with it .
Well now they have decided to go a step further and are threatening to arrest people who make fun of their Facebook posts celebrating their small time drug busts.
LOL AYFKM? Has the whole UK gone snowflake liberal? Now even the cops are worried about getting their feelings hurt?
Are they going to ask for safe spaces and frikin cry closets next?
Hey inspector jackass post about busting real criminals and maybe people will respect you. But keep posting about a little bit of cannabis and people are going to think you are a joke.
Arrested if you hurt their feelings WTF has happened to the world..

Your memory seems somewhat faulty.
What people told you about was that the police were threatening to arrest people who were making threats against the hospital and its staff.

Not inferring, stating outright.
Do you think people should be allowed to make threats online?

This is what i mean you guys accept this because of the extreme situation they were not just threatening the people making threats .
This is where allowing that bs like someone being convicted of a crime for teaching his dog the Nazi salute and baby Alfie got you.
Now the cops are going to arrest you for hurting their precious feelings .
So the Question is do you think they should be allowed to arrest people for this?

Do you think people should be allowed to make threats online?
Certainly not.
British police should be aware that their social media post are being monitored and any malicious communications or threatening posts will be investigated and where necessary acted upon.

Well the law does apply to the police as well.
Unless you are tying to imply that the police giving a warning about possible legal consequences is the same as people threatening the staff at a children's hospital. But that would just be a bit silly.
