BREAKING: Active Shooter Reported On High School Campus In Palmdale Ca.

We've had SWAT and police from Santa Clarita, Newhall etc flying down the freeway for the last hour. Now the scanner is saying they are NOT requesting anymore backup.

Gotcha. I'm on LAC Sheriff, Fire, and Aircraft - Santa Clarita Valley. Hardly any unit to unit traffic, but some command traffic, plus air units.

Manzanita was a Hoax now.

And it sounds like it's over with one 'person' shot. They haven't said if it was the suspect, but our security up here tends to be Sheriff or armed security so the guy might have got shot.

Over except for the angry parents at the mall! They are sending Mojave Cops to Mall now to deal with that. That's where they are busing the kids in.

The facts aren't even all out yet, and the libs are already dancing in the blood. Disgusting.

after reading more here's what i got from this, one person was in the hospital from a gunshot, a shot was heard near an elementary school, a man was detained after being seen possessing a gun, but no actual shooting at any school has been verified.

For future reference which hopefully won't be needed, Santa Clarita is actually like 30-40 miles away from here. Closer to San Fernando than us. They backed up Palmdale/Lancaster. Palmdale and Lancaster and Antelope Valley overall are the northern most area of LA county, we make up over half of LA county area wise.

It's super spread out and rural but our Sheriffs and CHP up here rock! They are the most awesome guys and gals pretty much anywhere. We want out of Cali soooo bad but we don't wan't to leave our cops because we know they are awesome!

Fox is reporting nothing at elementary school, investigation still ongoing. One person in custody.
I use scanner radio app and there is still some chatter.

Roflmao it's all good Especially since it doen't seem anyone but the suspect (maybe) was killed. The Palmdale Hospital is like 1 mile from the school, so I'm sure they got there quick.
