I saw this magical being by one of our Accasia lakes. Isn't she just a darling.
Getting ready for work, just wanted to say hello and wish you all a lovely Sunday.

Oh that was funny, even though I know you aren't jokeing.
There is no such thing as "Sunday/Holiday" pay for workers like me in the US.
This is a third world country.

in San Fran.

Also shocked at the signs on md's doors in many states!

California being a honeypot not surprising, just sad.

It is the people. Not the flora or fauna, nor geographical differences.

Greed by the 1 per cent ... not answerable to all but god.

Since we can't speak about these things here I put a little story telling in the mix.
What first came to mind was he would need to advance his services to cover the demand. A Catamaran. Then I remembered I have been a passenger on one several times.
The "HSC Villum Clausen" built in, of all places Perth Australia, 2000. A very impressive vessel if any one cares to look it up.

It could hold 1055 passengers and was recorded the fastest vessel at that time.
So the ferryman could perhaps catch up with the over load.
The harbor you see is on a tiny Island south of Sweden. I sailed on it for two years on a supply ship. When I wanted to return to the main land on my days off I either took a plane or on occasion when I just wanted to go to Copenhagen I took the ferry.

A lovely little place full of ancient lore.

Now I can be found for further conversation on this subject in my hide out at "Under The Coop".

Where is every body?

Well I was up at 2:15 at work at 3:55, this morning, so I am trying to wind/wine down to take a nap, because I have the late shift tomorrow, which I hate, but I want to swim with the dogs later, when the temps descend below 90 and then I can perhaps sleep in till 7am or 8.


We can get replacements and alterations for almost any body part, why can't we order a "Life Adjustment" ?

ETA: I don't know where everyone has gone to. Sometimes it seems like the shed is dying and then it perks up again.

It's the people who make the Shed what it is, so I hope more people show up and keep it going.

I believe the modern parlance is "Same #, different day". I'm waiting on money, one more week to go. I think I have 25 dollar/euros to last me. Mustn't grumble. I have tobacco and a light at the end of the tunnel.

Today is OK, other than the fact that I got up at 5am for some ungodly reason. It's almost 4pm here and I wanna go to bed lol.

Local meteorologists say today & tomorrow should be the last of the summer high heat & humidity (90* again, but tolerably dry this time)

The signs on McDonalds doors letting you know that you only have so long to eat your food, then you must leave.

Doesn't stop them hanging around outside though.
