40 years old and crying my eyes out like a little child.

Apparently the cancer had been there for some time but she never showed it. Always happy, always there for others.

Oh no ! I'm so sorry. My heart just breaks. As the new mom of a 6 month old fur baby, I would be devastated. * tears

My condolences All my puppies and I offer a big ole hug! That's the only shi*ty thing about loving animals is that we have too little time with them. I'm kinda worried my little dog might be leaving me soon, she's starting to show her age more. All you can do is love while you have em /hugs!

ETA: Dang just noticed she was a yearish old? That super sucks. It's bad enough when they are old, young is harder

What a gorgeous girl! Right now your heart is broken and all you can think of is how she left you too early, all the time that she didn't get to enjoy, perhaps any discomfort or suffering she endured. But those thoughts that are heavy right now will turn to remembering her life force, her love for you and the moments she made you laugh. It will turn around.

Allow the tears and know that you are grieving and healing right now.

And Pip is waiting for you on the other side. She is loving you from where she is and having a blast with all the others that have gone on before.

That is so true!

It is even sadder to lose someone at any age, but when death occurs at a young age, it is a special kind of loss, a special level of pain.

Ah, man, cancer in a pet is a horrible thing.

You can't see it, but I am crying for you and your poor puppy. I've been through it, so I know.

So, so sorry for your loss.

Oh, no. It's just a terribly sad thing to go through. Non-dog folks don't really understand how much we love our buddies (and how much they love us in return, and ask for so little).
