One of my favorite bands is Jethro Tull. Today’s selection is Stand Up...their second album from 1969. I love their older stuff.

Oh geez, my musical tastes are eclectic. I drive a lot at work, so I burn large mp3 cds with over a hundred songs each.

In the last 48 hours, it's been mostly:
Tool/A Perfect Circle
In This Moment
Slayer
Lamb Of God
Breaking Benjamin
*and then it flip flops*
Old Crow Medicine Show
Alabama
The Civil Wars
John Paul White
The Secret Sisters

Been listening to a couple of soundtracks today....one being The Greatest Showman with High Jackman....quite a good voice for a Wolverine
This was him singing to get the film greenlit....

Then a huge fave at the moment is the soundtrack from the PS4 remastered game of Shadow Of The Colosuss....some stunning pieces in there.....

Shadow of the Colossus was amazing back in the day, I still haven't picked up the remastered but plan on it. The OST sounds good.

I never played it first time round, loved this remastered one though.

Have heard lots of people complimenting the first one though.

I've been on an old school Sepultura kick lately so a lot of Arise and Chaos AD

And a ton of Neurosis

This album has been in constant rotation for months now and I'm still kicking myself for missing them on this tour.

And this is always playing in the car

And I'm often caught listening to this album too

This is what I woke up to

And because I'm not above shameless self promotion, I was listening to this demo because were getting ready to go back into the studio

Yep. In my blood-can't help it-and I sing Patsy Cline all the time. Music I understand-people I get-it's a generational thing for me.

Currently... Animals as Leaders.

If you're into fusion, rock and amazing guitar work.. this is it. Give it a try, it's an 'acquired taste'.

Yeah, the first 4 released from Prong still hold up. Force Fed, Beg to Differ,Prove You Wrong and Cleansing are killer and still hold up. As a bass player myself, I especially liked Price You Wrong because of Troy Gregory on bass. Though they were also one of those stereotypical bands where you’re super disappointed when you meet them because Tommy Victor was a class a douchebag. Sepultura were really cool. It was their road crew that were the pricks but Andreas and Max were awesome as was Max’s wife and stepdaughter who hooked me up with some merch for helping Christine out.

A happy mix of outlaw country, southern rock and the dead. As per usual.

he'll yeah. didn't know you were a bass player!

yeah I've met my share of disappointing musicians. some though we're just awesome guys. went to Berklee so I got to meet quite a few. last guy I recently ran into was Marcus miller. now that's a cool guy. friendly. made me happy to go home later and slap out some of his riffs knowing it was all good cause the music and the man were awesome.
