I just tried adding a link to a Reuter's article and even though everything is formatted correctly it doesn't create a link. It just treats the code as if it was normal text. I then tried to add a second source for my thread since my original one wasn't linking properly. This then caused my entire post to become a link with the exception of the new link I was trying to add. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue right now but I figured I'd give staff a heads up.

Seems like the problem may be linking to Reuters. I made a new post in the thread with another link and it worked fine. It looks like when I try to link to Reuters it adds a space to the code which throws everything off, even though it isn't there when I go to edit the post.

Well now I have no idea what the issue is. Because it still just keeps adding a space in my OP for no reason but no other posts.

You didn't use the URL tags, that might be the difference.

with url tags

Oh lol, well it's not.. works fine in preview.. weird. I've had some links that just don't take to being posted. Maybe tinyurl for those? weird that it works here, both ways.

OP , try putting a space between your link text and the closing /url. so ;

(url=Link-to-source)SOURCE (/url)

that works when I quote your post in your thread and preview it.
