CNN reports a woman “deliberately” rammed her car into a barrier on the White House’s security perimeter, about the time Mr Turnbull and Mr Trump were speaking inside the East Room.
The Secret Service tweeted that the vehicle “did not breach the security barrier of the White House complex”.

We know the perp is in custody, and a good investigation should never have a lot of overzealous preconception.
They will check her cell phone calling history along with a thorough background check for clues.
The White house was put on lock down so the event had serious consequences.
Glass is missing from the back of her vehicle, not sure how that happened.

More news coming in now, apparently the woman was armed with a pistol and had attempted to attack the White House in the past. I would say the officers involved acted with considerable restraint considering the threat.
