The article did mention that even though no dogs had ran for governor so far they weren't sure what would they would do if one did. So the dog. And the band.

I've already ordered a gross of baseball caps with the new campaign slogan on them. Once people see them it will make the slogan "Make America Great Again" seem silly in comparison.
