How do we defend our churches or temples?

??? Isn't the OP talking about how to protect places of worship? They already have walls.

But in all seriousness, why wait for the population to stop shooting people? Remember that my Dad is an Imam and he & his associates have a mosque right now. So this stuff touches home a bit differently for me. I'd prefer we make places of worship, houses, and schools into true safe havens now, rather than sit around and wait for politicians to do something about it.

Wait, I know, "Why not get rid of religion like a bad pain in the ass, no-problems no worries." With or without religion, one thing is certain, "No matter what you believe in (Ufos, Santa, Trump) -you will live, and, you will die."

Honestly, I think all of humanity would be better off if it took a "nice long mental dump" and sent religion back where it came from -the Dark Side.
