I'm sure they have but not as much as you would think. I also think this is why it was also named BADDECISION. If you're going to use this particular attack it's usually going to be a bad decision for an agent because you need to be within signal range. It's a proximity attack. You can extend this distance with perhaps a yagi or cantenna, but you still need to be "in range". Way greater chances of being caught if you have to travel to a secure facility to use it.

I went back and looked at the slides some more. BADDECISION looks more like ARP spoofing than KRACK. Probably not the same.
