ISIS Inspired attack to target concerts revealed in New York

Ok. Does anyone else find this odd? Officials have released information regarding an ISIS styled attack that was to target crowds from concerts. The plot was thwarted and was never operational but look at who they are.

Philippines? These guys have been in custody for months but it is suddenly now days after the largest terror attack on US soil since 9/11 the information is revealed. Whether LV was foreign or domestic incident in nature it was a terror attack. Now this line in the article stood out...

While the alleged plot was apparently uncovered and interrupted months ago, investigators were not prepared to announce its existence until Friday, in part because the search continued for other possible terror connections.

So, did the search end because of Las Vegas? What says you ATSNN?

Something really stinks.
Those 3 punks should be on the receiving end of some very old fashioned interrogation techniques until they spilled everything.
Strap them to a chair and perform some dental work without any anesthesia, that would get them to talk.

How was it uncovered? Any details or was it just "uncovered" and that's it? I haven't clicked the link in fears I will give them ad revenue.

The timing is very convenient, maybe a way to connect ISIS with the Las Vegas shooting in the minds of those who are already suspecting that?

Well if Russell Sali knows Stephen Paddock or the woman, then I'd say definite terror incident related to ISIS or related to one of the groups anyway

Which is probably the connection they're trying to force in the minds of certain people with the releasing of this information.

How was the plot uncovered? From the quotes in the OP that's the only explanation given, simply "uncovered" with no details as to how.

They said in the article it was not a 'sting' but they had found out about the plot and started it before it could really move forward. Just seemed a little coincidental is all. It is probably nothing but it could be something.

Correct. To me it seems to be a narrative being pushed like others but cannot figure our why. That is why I wanted to know what you all thought.

I'm just wondering how they found out about it. It seems very convenient in light of the recent events at a certain concert.

Nearly all the "terror plots" are put together by the FBI in the first place
They find radicalized or really dumb people then put them in compromising situations.
Finally, they swoop in for the bust and "save America" from another terror attack they themselves put together.
That's entrapment to my way of thinking.

That is why I thought it odd they made sure to say it was 'not' a sting when we all know they had to be on some radar and when found to have a connection they are brought in....sometimes. Think of past terror attacks were the shooter was either known or had talked to authorities.

Without an established motive, how can you classify this as a terror attack? Because people were afraid?

The information was probably there all along but our lazy media didn't have a need to look into it until now. It's all about headlines. They put it out there to sell advertisement and for people to connect the dots on their own. That way they don't have to really work hard. Like 3NL1GHT3N3D1, I won't click the link and give them revenue.

There's a new series on Netflix about forced and coerced confessions. The first case has police using the "Mr. Big" technique.

After seeing the tapes, i completely agree. That tactic is the epitome of entrapment. Especially when used against younger peoples.

On topic: the timing of this released info is highly suspect. If true, why now? I understand the idea of, "we didn't want to say anything because we were investigating other leads". But what the heck does that really matter?

Isn't it just as likely that someone will hurry to carry out some sort of attack after learning they may be compromised now than they would've before?

I hate to think it but that seems very likely to me. Don't waste LV because it can be put to good use in the narrative.

The Fake News finally reporting on something is no mystery. They look for trendy things to report on to maximize ratings and dollars. The "When" Fake News reports something is a factor only to Fake News, not to what is really happening in the real world.

The MSM does the same thing after a plane crash. For 2 weeks or so afterward, they report every tire blown on landing and every bird strike on a windshield.

"There has been another airline incident today. After the break (5 minutes of commercials) we'll tell you what happened. Don't go away!"


P.S. Notice how the news article lists CONCERTS as the first of 3 targets. But when you read the several articles that are now online, the wanna-be terrorists stated that Times Square and the New York Subway were their primary 1st choices to place bombs.
