The guy in the "pink hat" photo does appear to be wearing a shirt with "NASA" written on it. NASA listed a Steve Paddock among employees in 1993.
But the Steve Paddock in Vegas is only said to have worked for Lockheed Martin. So I wonder if this is all a coincidence. Stranger things have happened.
Already been posted and debunked.
PS - they have different middle names, and using grainy photos in a nation of 310+ million people to draw comparisons... yeah.
Already been posted, anyway.
I have seen it posted but I have not seen it "debunked" yet. Can you please show me where it was debunked because I am curious.
Start around page 70ish in the Mandalay Bay thread.
It's already been posted - and debunked. I'm not continually re-hashing already discussed content.
It's a different guy. Crazy, I know, but there is more than one Stephen Paddock in the world.
The claim was that this is Stephen Paddock, who worked at NASA. Dude never worked at NASA. He's not wearing a NASA t-shirt. The man in the picture has a different middle name than the Vegas shooter.

You would think someone on one of these boards would have access to facial recognition software and would be able to compare the 2 images.

Couple of things.
1. I do not find this pic conclusive that it's him.
2. Believe it or not, a person can get and wear a shirt that says NASA without having to work there.
3. Even if this is him, this in no way proves motive.
I am sure Ted Bundy had political opinions; that doesn't mean they were the reasoning for his killings.
Lastly, although I fully support is sleuthing to get as much info as possible, I caution people not to rush to judgement.
It can lead to dangerous misconceptions and hurt innocent people.
Tee bundy was a sexual deviant, sociopath and sexual sadist...
He had a long criminal history and was a known offender...
Paddocks only ripple was this picture...other than it, he was a ghost of sorts..
Well, a ghost to all but casinos who seemed to know him well...
So with no more information than I have now, the guess is based upon only this picture knowing his long-term girlfriend was a leftist political activist...

One major structural issue I see is that one political group is essentially being allowed to preach mass murder and justify it politically (killing Nazis is not only acceptable its a duty they say).
That's what we really need to be discussing no matter what this guy's motive was.
I understand that this topic is being avoided because a lot of people want a violent revolution but need to avoid facing moral repercussions right now because they are still in the recruitment and indoctrination phase, but this is the right time to show people the reality and immoral nature of murder to prevent impressionable people from being sucked into political radicalism.
So let's look at how the MSM foments that radicalism and division, and how they fail to report the truth about this political radicalization and cover up it's outspoken motives.
As far as I can tell the primary structural problems are the unbelievable political bias of the MSM and the desire to create a militarized police state as the establishment's endgame goal.
On 4chan, the anonymous message board and a favorite platform of the “alt-right”, some noted that Danley was a registered Democrat. Soon after, Gateway Pundit, a conspiracy-laden blog that earned White House credentials under Trump, published an evidence-free story headlined, “Las Vegas Shooter Reportedly a Democrat Who Liked Rachel Maddow, MoveOn.org and Associated with Anti-Trump Army”. The piece was based on a review of Facebook “likes”.
ended up briefly promoting a story that said the shooter had “Trump-hating” views, along with links to a number of other hoaxes and scams, according to screenshots. At the same time, Google users who searched Geary Danley’s name were at one point directed to the 4chan thread filled with false claims.
“It’s getting more polarized. There’s this mad scramble to paint the guy as a Democrat or a Republican, so they can cheer,”

Wow bro I asked as politely as I could. You really are an ass lol.
Even after the discrediting of the Geary Danley story early in the day, the amateur sleuths of 4chan continued to seize on pieces of internet ephemera that appeared to tie Paddock to left-wing causes–after discovering a 1993 NASA document listing a “Steve Paddock” as an employee, commenters linked it to a photo of a man resembling Paddock wearing a pink “pussy-hat” and NASA T-shirt.
