I find the concept of 2 shooting platforms for 1 shooter to be a bit questionable.

Hopefully we get more(and better) info as this gets pieced together.

Why would it be questionable? Obviously this was well-planned. At some point he figured out that after he shot a certain direction for long enough people would flee so he would have to fire a different direction.

Ever go on a rampage in GTA? How often do you only shoot in 1 direction?

How many directions do the windows in that room face? I'm guessing they are pretty much all in the same direction. Given the elevation and distance to his targets. Moving 12 feet to the left or right has little to no effect on field of view.

Oh jeez, MSNBC just reported the guy worked for Lockheed. Here come the government false flag accusations.

They're saying he worked for Lockheed as an accountant.

The one on the far left I can't really tell what he's doing without seeing a bigger pic.

Right click/open in new tab. Then scale it up or down, it is a biggish pic.

They're not in the same direction. I'll see if I can find a pic, but it's been shown on the news a bunch of times.

I wasn't thinking second shooter. I was just wondering if the use of tripods would be to keep firing, or to fire from different angles. I can see both possibilities. I've never used tripods for shooting so I'm trying to get an understanding of their use. Other than for stability I should add.

I didn't know he had automatic rifles, I threw out the way a person can use a "bump fire stock" on a semiautomatic and get the same effect weather it was with a 30 round mag or a 100 round drum. You should try using a bump fire stock it's a lot of fun running threw 200 rounds trying to melt a barrel.

Although this article was posted 5 hours ago.

Las Vegas authorities were already on high alert before the shooting attack on the city's famous strip on Sunday night that left at least 20 people dead at the Route 91 Festival, after the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) released a propaganda video earlier this year showing footage of the site.

The 44-minute-long video released in May showed footage of the Las Vegas strip from 2015, calling on its supporters to conduct attacks with knives and vehicles, everyday weapons that its supporters have already used many times in the West over the past several years. The footage also showed New York City and Washington, D.C.

Bold mine.
Might be more to it. (And maybe more to come?)
Stay safe!

Well there is the questions of the weapons, what kind, how'd he get them, how much, legal/illegal etc.

Then, would he need help to get them and would he need help to get set up, financially.

He had the room since Thursday and would he know that was a tactical position, was he ex military, did he have help planning it.

Also needed the right weapons to do that damage, did he know.

Who else was involved.

According to Daily Mail, the 64 year old shooter was a pilot and hunting enthusiast. I would assume he understood and was experienced with guns. He also owned a pretty nice home 90 minutes away in Mesquite.

Who was the shooter? -DailyMail

Ok good, thanks.

Answered my questions pretty well.

I don't see it.

As in I don't see how this is the same guy.

Don't get me wrong it could be a anti-Trump type attack but based of that video I can't say that this guy was anti-Trump.

The room has two sides at an angle. Not a sharp angle, but enough to give a different field of fire from each location.

they were both suffering from a deadly illness that was eating up all their savings and some shady character came out of the shadows and offered their loved ones a small fortune if they would only do this minor thing which would give the added benefit of ending their pain and suffering???

Here you can see the fields of view from these 2 windows would be quite different. They are pretty far apart, so he either rented a large suite or he rented 2 adjacent rooms that had those little doors you can go between rooms without going out in the hall. Having been to Vegas (someone correct me if I'm wrong here), the suites tend to be high up in the hotel so you get a nice view for your money, so I'd guess it's one large suite. Obviously the guy didn't have to worry about how much it cost to get that suite.

I'm still not betting on ISIS actually being responsible.

A.) If they did claim...and they lied...they discredit their future claims.
B.) If they did claim...and they lied...it means they are on the ropes and are desperate.

That does kind a look like the guy, especially considering that looks kind a like his girlfriend with him.

Pink NASA shirt. Anti-Trump Lockheed guy.

Adds up...

Did the news ever mention what room he was in, I've only seen 32nd floor.

I am late to this although I did try to post while the thread was "suspended". So, I'm reading more than 50 fatalities and... more than 406 hospitalised? Surely not all by bullet wounds though, right? Bloody hell, what a mess and condolances to the families and friends of the departed.
