It wouldn't have mattered if he'd escaped or not.....he was far too well known to have been able to get away with it in the first place. He wasn't exactly circumspect. He was seen by many at the Hotel, gambled heavily over the week-end, naturally anyone would know the room he was in. There was no way he was expecting to escape, unless as I said earlier, he had no reason to plan an escape as he didn't know he'd have to. I still wonder if he was meeting someone else hence all the guns

New information coming out from the Sheriff press conf.

They have evidence Paddock planned to survive the attack and escape.

Over 200 rounds fired into hallway. They said it's amazing security guard wasn't killed.

Nope Jill Snyder ATF Special Agent in Charge has state numerous times that he started collecting guns in 1982 and has also stated that his gun purchases over those years raised no red flags as all were purchased legally and would only raise suspicion if he had purchased numerous amounts all in one go

Well I'm sure the Hotel can/could clear the question of who was in room 32134 easily enough so I fail to see why this businessman would lie about which room he was in

So he sets cameras up to hear them coming and is prepared to shoot it out with them clearly that's why he had all those guns.. now why did he kill himself if he fired 200 rounds into a hallway..
