Please spare me.

They have the Supreme Court with who they want.
They have a republican president ready to sign.

And congressional republicans just shat in their pants.

They don't want it gone.

Then they are extraordinarily skilled in cover-ups.

And if they don't want it "gone", then why do you think they want to keep it?

Because it creates new tax revenues, and empowers government.

This is the government healthcare that the socialists and leftists wanted.

This is their dream come true.

They wanted government to see to their healthcare needs, and they got it.

Actually its not the healthcare socialists and leftists want. It is the compromise to get ANY healthcare reform done with GOP support. Of course the GOP pulled out last min in protest after they got a # ton of additions and amendments added on and then road the wave of false outrage to power.

I will admit that I believed the republicans.

No more.

They're just as weak and pathetic as the democrats.

Ah. Then certainly nothing to do with providing medicine and medical needs to our vulnerable populations, as well as the general public. Nothing like that. Just another way to make a buck.

eta: Did you notice everything was just fine and dandy with "Repeal"? They knew how to do that. Just a simple aye or nay. But when Trump opened his big fat mouth and said "repeal and REPLACE", it all went to hell. You know why they can't replace it? THEY DON"T KNOW HOW.
Therein lies the problem. Incompetency.

Nice talking points.

So vulnerable people were just left to die in the streets before Obamacare?

Prove it.

Alright! You win the award for the day for making the most numerous strawman arguments. Problem is, I know 'em when I see 'em, and I don't play that game.

Next.

You literally just invented your own strawman argument and then demanded another forum member prove it. Good lord...

It's kind of like that one time when he insisted monkeys were living up his butt.

Prove it, I said to him. Prove it!

He still can't prove it.

Enjoy your Obamacare.

It won't be going away anytime soon.

You wanted government healthcare, looks like you got it!

My state opted out, but I get my insurance through my workplace. It's damned good, too. I just want everybody and his neighbor to be able to get it when they need it. Yep. Everybody.

It makes you angry, doesn't it.

Owning Obamacare, owning government care.

It's what you want, this socialism.

Might as well own it.

Good for you!

Tell me later how much you'll enjoy the VA style care that everyone is going to get.

DC, don't say it like it's a dirty word. It's not. Everyone who lives in this supposedly affluent country should have food, and be able to go to the damn doctor and get Rx filled. We can do that much. It's not like we're asking to give the poor a car, or a membership to a countryclub. It's a doctor's visit. It's pills. Hospital stays.

It's not the end of the world, and it's the right thing to do. We can afford it.

Like I said way back, it's a done deal, a fait accompli.

The democrats and republicans want universal/socialized healthcare.

And we're going to get it.

I've already accepted defeat.

Your side won.

You got it.

The republicans have shown that by provided weak alternatives that they knew wouldn't pass.

I won't argue it anymore other than to say how much it will suck, with the high premiums, and eventually, higher taxes.

But I can't change anything. I'm just an old man on the internet.

My only advantage is that I'll die before it gets really bad for everyone else.

So celebrate!

You and everyone else got their wish!

Obama: Under Obamacare, health care will cost less than your cell phone bill

Published on Sep 23, 2013

President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle attended the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Phoenix Awards Dinner at the Washington Convention Center Saturday night. While extolling the benefits of Obamacare less than 10 days before the opening of the new health insurance marketplaces, the president said that "you can offer your family the security of health care ... for less than your cell phone bill."

The president was referring to a tweeted claim made earlier this week by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that said, "Nearly 6 in 10 uninsured Americans will #GetCovered for less than $100/month starting Jan 1." As noted at the time, Sebelius's claim was based on a press release from HHS that said that six in ten uninsured "may be able to get coverage" for less than $100 per month, a claim that looked even more dubious under closer examination.
