Here's a clip of what it takes to be good. Despite all of her, Stevie Nicks, transgressions...there's just about no way you can argue why she's a legend. In your shower, living room...even backstage at the local bar...could YOU do this???

She might have been a crazy, drug addicted, crack beotch...but nobody, I mean NOBODY, can sing like this!!!!

Just blows up the whole place...no mic, no backers...just voice.

Honestly, this is probably blasphemous to some, but that's the first time I'm ever really been impressed by Stevie.

You've changed my universe in tiny way with this OP.

I have always been partial to female singers in a lot of music styles.
Stevie Nicks has been a good singer for a long time but I could never get used to the warbling style of her vocals.
I was wondering what the context of this video was and went to YouTube to view it. It says it's from the Rolling Stone photo session, it almost sounds as if she is singing along to a recording of the song because you can hear other vocals and music.
If this video had been recorded with some better equipment, it obviously would sound a lot better but she sounds good nonetheless.
Maybe we should start a thread with our favorite female vocalists?

She has a unique tone and her octave range is incredible.

This is the best acapella/natural guitar I've ever seen...
