A House intelligence committee staffer said the panel has issued a subpoena to President Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, as part of its ongoing investigation into Russia's election meddling, Fox News confirmed.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal committee matters.
Cohen is a former Trump Organization executive who served as a cable television surrogate for the Republican during the presidential campaign.

It says in the OP that the lawyer himself has had dealings with Russia/Ukraine. They will ask him about his personal dealings and therefore attorney-client privilege doesn't apply.
