The former chairwoman of the Federal Election Commission, who famously eyed regulating the politics of conservative outlets like the Drudge Report, has joined an advocacy group funded by George Soros and run by his son.

Ann Ravel is the first fellow listed with the California advocacy group New America.

Her fellowship began in March and pays a $30,000 stipend.

She has applauded calls for regulating political speech and spending on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and this week endorsed tracing the funding of online ads and regulating individual Twitter accounts.

Politics make strange bed fellows. Looks like Ann Ravel is joining forces with a Soros funded "group".

Although what she is calling for sounds reasonable. But when you start to talk about regulating political speech the very wealthy start to bark.

Soros needs to be taken in and a fear of god talk with him needs to happen or worse. TPTB that have worked so hard to have a monopoly on the information shared with the public has got to do something to silence those who know much of their opinions and broadcast are fake made up B.S. Drudge and others are in the cross hairs of their wrath and they will shut down all "Legally" by passing a law that makes it so. Nazi Germany and Stalin's Russia had laws that made the most heinous things legal in their society.
