I also love me some boiled peanuts. Green peanuts

I grew up part of my younger years in the south. And a big treat was to go out back and dig up a bunch and bring them in clean them and boil them in salt water and sit down and eat the whole bowl with family. Juice running down your arms and in your lap. Oh what wonderful memories.

I now live in the North. I still love my boiled peanuts, but they come out of a can.


I have been reading that you can grow them up here. I may give it a try next year. If I can find a spot where the deer won't get to them.
