Trump is not a critical thinker. He and his guilty parties are scared and this is proof of it. Of course, I don't expect any Trump supporting conservative to ever give this a thought of possibility. Time will tell whats really going on and if Trump is found guilty I'm sure his supporters will continue to make excuses for him and blame it all on the Liberal media/Soros/Clinton/Obama/etc/etc.

If there was any shred of a reason to actually think the Russians hacked the election, then maybe I could entertain the thought, but right now, it's mostly just empty conspiracy kept alive by anonymous sources who are never identified and wishful thinking and insinuation.

Since the DNC has REFUSED to turn the said server over to the FBI for forensic examination, the Russia claims are still BS.

On which authority was the Weiner Laptop confiscated? Was it Comey by any chance?

It's clear to me that Sessions and his team found something while reviewing the investigations into Bill Clinton's wife's email mess and the Clinton Crime Foundation (still ongoing).

I had the weird suspicion that Yates somehow slipped up at her hearing. Can anyone confirm that or was it just my imagination. To be fair it was a lot of boring lawyer speak.

From the NYT:
Senator Ron Wyden, Democrat of Oregon and a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a post on Twitter that Mr. Comey “should be immediately called to testify in an open hearing about the status of Russia/Trump investigation at the time he was fired.”

That would be spectacular, but I won't hold my breath.

It's naive to believe for one second that the FBI would divulge any information about an investigation involving the President. It's even more naive to think that the FBI could investigate the man campaign connections into the subject without digging into the man himself.

Trump supporters live in a fantasy land.

I'm not "naive" at all. I'm basing my conclusions strictly upon the evidence. President Trump is not under investigation. Comey himself said that.

How do "Trump supporters live in a fantasy land."...?

You know who is under investigation...? Bill Clinton's wife and her Family Foundation. That one we know for sure.

Shouldn't hillary be happy he is fired?

After all, he was why she didn't win.

No doubt! To suggest Comey is partisan is to admit senility.

the investigation is not finished though.
we will see what happens i guess

Yes....please waste more of our money on something that has not produced anything in months.

Not a single thing.

But yeah....lets just keep going at it because....well really because literally nothing.

well i would like to them to investigate until they are finished. thats how its supposed to work.

They could finish at any time...it is up to them. They have found nothing and are still wasting taxpayer money. They're doing it at the behest of those that say they want to give more to the people and not waste our money....laughable....

Exactly right. I just heard that there are over 100 people in the FBI investigating the Russian Hacking thing, along with the Justice Dept and Congressional committees. It's overkill, a waste, and a distraction from making America the greatest again.

I think its a combination of a LOT of things that has been goofed involving the mess in question. The email about Lynch protecting clinton and Comey knowing about it and still recommends no charges is probably at the top.

Good riddance. He's been protecting Hillary in this mess from the start. My only complaint is that its about four months too late, but then again, I think Trump was probably just keeping Comey around waiting for him to accidentally make a mistake and out himself in some way during one of these Congressional hearings. We'll see.

Trump began the whole bromance when he started accepting money from Russian oligarchs tied to the Semion Mogilevich... a prominent family in the Russian Bratva circles. AKA the Russian mafia.

I wouldn't hold my breath either. Do you know why?

They don't have anything.

If they actually had something that big, they would have brought it out by now. Enough Republicans hate Trump and enough Democrats hate him, that they could impeach him.

That no one has seen anything more than rumor and insinuation, enough to keep things alive, says they don't have it and likely never will. It profits them more as what it is - a whole lot of nothing that pretends to be something. They can keep people like you slobbering over anxiously awaiting something that never comes, but you're sure it will. They're playing politics, not serious.

Well the ranking Democratic member of the Senate intelligence committee was the one who told Susan Rice NOT to testify. It is probably just me but it looks like democrats are starting to get desperate now that their talking points have been destroyed.

HEY..it just occurred to me that this firing is paving the way for James Session to prosecute Hillary!

James Comey said that Hillary Clinton committed crimes, but it was OK, because she was mentally-impaired for a couple of years. That's not acceptable.

LOCK HER UP!

Is it true that the reason the White House gave for firing Comey is because he did something bad to Hillary back on July 8, 2016? That's what I'm hearing on the radio.

According to the Deputy AG who wrote the recommendation to fire him said that Comey should not have come out and said all the things he did about hillary, in the way he did.

It was not a good presentation of the evidence and he shouldn't have even done the presser, usurping Lynch in that regard.

So they can lie about it when questioned directly under oath?

Of course they can. You think anyone working for an alphabet agency tells the truth to legislative committee?

Take James Clapper or Michael Hayden for examples A and B.

He was fired for that presser he did last year about how guilty hillary was and

That will be one of the given reasons.

The real reason, Trump feelin' the heat. tick tock.

Comey did not have to be removed for Sessions to prosecute anyone involved. The AG / DOJ is technically over the FBI (along with the DNI). Charges are at the discretion of the DOJ and not the FBI.

They have all already stated more than once they can't find any connection with Trump and Russia. Regardless of if people want to believe that, all intelligence agencies involved have found nothing and stated so.

I get the desire to have the Trump Russia allegations go away as you were/are(?) a Trump supporter. However, just because there wasn't any conclusive evidence at a particular point in an investigation, doesn't mean the investigation stops. Does it? If homicide detectives are investigating a crime and a reporter asks if they have damning evidence on the first day and the answer is "no," does that mean that there's no evidence to be uncovered? Investigation over?

No, of course not. The investigation goes on until it's run its course.

You guys kill me with this. The GOP could investigate Benghazi for decades and the base would never be satisfied but a couple statements about no evidence of collusion having been found so far and you're declaring case closed.

My guess is during the course of the investigation into Trump, something was revealed about Comey....whether that was something to do with the Clinton investigation would be interesting to hear.

That my friend is pure spitballing.

Pelosi is neck-deep in corruption, and has been for some time. She also knows Sessions very well and knows exactly how tough he can be. She's got a support group around her though, and that has to be dismantled first to make her vulnerable.

Warren is another one. Why do you think she went ballistic enough to be censured by the Senate over Session's confirmation?

Lindsey Graham, McCain, Schumer... party's not gonna matter as this web unravels and the swamp drains.
