Total waste of time. Trailer better than the film. Contemporary take on 1984 with a very healthy dose of Brave New World. A great cast given goofy characters, a script that tried to hard to be hip with millennial wit. Scenes that drug on and needed editing,
Emma is cute with charisma but I really never cared about her or any of the other characters. Pity... the concept had such great potential but the story arc was predictable and contrived.

I've looked at the book for a while. I wonder if it manages to be better like books nearly always do. I saw somewhere that someone is noticing a trend with books this author has written that get turned into bad movies.

I was actually looking forward to watching this.

Just checked rottentomatoes.

Guess not.

Waste of a great cast.

Am watching it now, and as for a movie, it's like nails on a chalkboard after a while, but as for the reality in-sync aspect, it's right on the money with Google.

A corporate entity with it's hands so far outreached that for the government to rival it's reach, would be too costly and either merges with corporate or becomes obsolete, only to allow the corporate entity, the new government of the US.

Think this isn't already the plan, it's already in play.

Drill into it further, when data / " big machines " get to decide the badguys and sentences, ANYONE can convicted.

NO ONE is safe in a future that makes 1984 look like a utopia.
