I suppose its obvious really i had just never considered it before i heard of a friend of a friend getting it...and i actually felt pretty dumb and embarrassed to be honest that i was not aware of it before hand.

Geckos use what is called "van der Waals force" to stick to a surface.

They have millions of tiny bristles on their toes which create a very large surface area.

The molecular attraction between these bristles and the surface causes them to stick.

They do sing pretty. But I will personally never bow to them until they agree to release from servitude, all of the people that wait on them fin and flipper at seaworld and other mega palaces which they have created to fascilitate their transition into rulers of the land and the sea. They even call it "Seaworld" because they plan to eventually make the entire world a warm bath for them to frolic in. Global warming anyone? Rising water lines? Katrina was a test run.

Well its not a fact but a suspicion that if I was to analyse the amount of time I spend on ATS it would be in the order of 20% of my free time - life is so short.

Whales have pelvises, allows them to poo, mate and give birth and phalanges, allows them to spread out their flippers
