Some light musings on turning 40.

I hhave not been around here much lately and in truth may not be in the future. No issues but I have managed to get myself back into the real world and with a history of mental health issues and dillusions this place is not the best place for me to hang out. I still pop by a few times a day to see whats going on and to keep an eye on what is what but other than that I do not seem to have much reason to participate.

That said I turn 40 tommorow and without over exageration if it was not for some of the members of ats I would not have been here to feel old and grumble about turning 40 and I thank you for that.

Be happy in what you do and keep searching for that smoking gun or rock on mars that is not a rock but above all keep arguing and laughing and smiling in the face of adversity.

Life begins apparently tommorow so I shall start it with a blinding hangover.

I'm only about a month and a half away from it myself. It's really just another year to me. I guess it gets that way for some of us after our 25th birthday.

I vaguely remember turning 40 LOL.
Anyway, glad to hear you are healthy and working toward happy. Life is short and the older you get, the shorter it becomes doesn't it?
Do it all, feel it all, embrace it all, and above all try to be kind.

Seriously though my friend....I cried the last night of my 39th year because I thought I was turning "officially old"...hehe...

Truth is, I peaked in my 40's. Looked my best, felt my best...had more self confidence than ever because I decided, "Hey! I'm 40! I don't have to take anybody's crap now!"

Please don't lose touch with us here, but yes...go have a life outside of the internet! Then come back and tell us how you're rocking your 40's!! Be true to yourself and don't take any crap from the youngun's!!

So today is officially your birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to YOU!!!

I was a little glum leading up to it but now i here it alsmost feels liberating.

I have not gone I just find little to engage in here anymore what with the politics and all but always in the background if something interesting crops up.
