Did Trump lose the USS Carl Vinson??

Just been reading how the armada President Trump reported was heading to Korea's coast has actually been sailing in the opposite direction, the theories are that either it was:
1) deliberate miss information from Mr Trump (Maybe to apply pressure)
2) Miss communication possibly with trump jumping the gun and announcing the deployment early? -( I'd imagine if so he could get the deployment brought forward to save face)

3) my personal theory... maybe the Carl Vinson sailed North to avoid the south China Sea, and sailing east now towards the Pacific ?
if this is correct I wonder why? - Is it to allow transit without Kim pointing the finger at China and saying you allowed them through? or is there caution about chinas response to an armada heading to their 'ally'. #

4) is it all misinformation in order to hide the ship's actual position ?

Maybe Trump should open the borders to ISIS in Chicargo then let North Korea drop and nuke on the city, Detriot too! Then thats a few US problems sorted

It's probably a little bit of number 1 and a little more of number 2 combined into a media flurry that triggered North Korea even more. It would have been better to say nothing and quietly move the Vinson group into place under the guise of the active Foal Eagle 2017 exercises.

Option 3 is ruled out because the location of the group is confirmed by multiple sources including the US Navy because the carrier group went per schedule to join the Australians in some drills in the Indian Ocean. That also goes for option 4 even though POTUS and the media created a whole gaggle of misinformation about the ship's movements.

You could always reach out to Russia or China about where the Carrier group is specifically. They've been tailing it for a while now.

What was actually said was that they were canceling their Australian port call and heading to Korea. Which they did. The statement by the Pentagon didn't give an exact time frame when they'd be there. They completed their training with Australia and are heading to Korea.

Well, it is eventually going to go there, it is supposed to be here by this coming weekend. Trump said he was sending it there, he never said he was going to do it immediately. The News blew it up without knowing all the facts. It never was supposed to go there right away.

I guess they were scheduled to play games with the Spanish navy or something, they would need to retool to go to a different real conflict or switch out a bunch of stuff. It was the Media that jumped at this without asking how this was going to unfold. I wonder if any media actually got this right. You might have found the whole truth in one of the military sites or maybe in the local newspaper of an area by a naval base. We have created a lot of really bad reporters, they jump at things without actually doing their homework.

I knew for a while that the Russians had this technology, so does the USA. The press asked Trump if they had anything to do with that missile blowing up, he said he couldn't comment or something like that. Half our weapons could be worthless, Jets could just fall out of the air if these weapons were deployed, even commercial jets.

Why would Trump have any idea about things like where our aircrafts carriers are or where they are going? They don't talk about that kind of intel on Fox News..
