I don't think doomsday is any closer. This is no different from the many proxy wars both the US and Russia have engaged in.

War. What is it good for?

The way I see it:-

1) Good for the military industry

2) Good for BIG banks

3) Good for corrupt politicians

Not so good for the rest of us, but I guess we better suck it up?

Probably got a US attack sub hiding in their baffles.

I have to admit one thing....If it comes down to a war of tug boats the US loses to Russia all day long....They have had so much practice...

The politicians are supposed to call me for permission on most things. Unfortunately I forgot to pay my phone bill so I didn't get the call on this one.
