Also I'd have to fall instantly deep in love or it just won't happen.
So yeah, I will have a lot of cats. And am totally fine with it.

Maybe life surprises you.My daughter was convinced she was going to spend her life as a crazy dog lady then suddenly she met the love of her life,whom she will most likely marry.He is a mildly handsome pool cleaner and wildlife photographer and they are deliriously happy together.

I truly can only think of one or two 'happy' couples in my social circle. I'm not even sure if they are happy or have settled but, they don't complain endlessly about the other and seem to enjoy each other's company without it appearing to be a chore.
To the OP, I hope you find that love that you seek if it is what you need and want.
In the meanwhile, cats aren't so bad. I've got a dog, cat and a fish so I'm covering all of my bases
Maybe it's better to know what one wants and endure the wait than to cycle through relationships that oculdn't possibly ever work out.
