They (Tengri) said nobody would know who is rewarded, that's why. You've been trolled.

Remember what happen last time a rumor of a messenger got to the king's ear.

"They" also said:

- They are aliens
- Our thoughts are not our own
- They read out minds and push thoughts into our head
- There is no God
- The universe is finite
- The answer to page 23 could only be discovered by those with alien DNA by meditating
- By the way, they tweeted the answer to page 23, just not what it said
- That someone would be "chosen" to be given this knowledge (an eternal reward according to them), but there is no reward?

All of which, is obviously BS, because their claim, before they EVER got to this "magic" number on page 17 that you're hung up on (as was I), was that all of this math showed how powerful they are, and therefore we should believe EVERYTHING they say because of their proven mathematical ability. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL That's like saying you should believe everything that comes out of the television because you can't explain how it works, even though there are people who can.

Seriously Norge? You seem to be buying into this whole idea a bit much...

I'm not sure why you would say I, of all people, got trolled. Perhaps initially, but so did you and everyone else who believed the story, which is exactly what the Tengri group wanted.

If you're an alien intelligence, you would step into the ring with disproving the theory of relativity, or providing the math to prove how gravity works, or a new type of physics equation. Not this sh!t.

I could have just told you that if you asked.

Look at what my screen name means... I won't say I'm a good guy, but I will say that I'm always working toward being a better one.

No, I see what you did, appreciate it and understand that you think it has been solved.
To those who may be interested, I would suggest that it has not.

Cheers!

Well alright then! Why don't you tell everyone WHY you think it has NOT been solved? You must have some idea in your head that you think how I arrived at the answer is wrong, yet you haven't shared that... why not? If I'm wrong, and the puzzle hasn't been solved, as you suggest to everyone who is interested, please explain why?

The puzzle itself might not be solved, but page 23 definitely is, regardless of what you think, that much has already been confirmed across numerous sites and threads on this puzzle and even with their next clue. So I'm not sure where you assertion comes from.

To those who may still be interested, it's likely because they are interested in the puzzle itself, but the message delivered in it is a hoax and has been washed out of the fun of the puzzle. We know that they are not aliens at this point and that the math is not anything so advanced that a human mathematician couldn't solve it with pen and paper. Anyone who makes such bold claims, such as they did, but rests it on top of math that they claim is so much more advanced than our understanding of it, but clearly is not the case, is a fraud and there is no reason to believe a single thing in the entire set of statements they made.

If you still have fun with the puzzle, that's awesome! Have at it... but the motivation for doing it is gone for me and many others, now that we know better.

If you're still convinced that you're talking to alien "gods" that came here thousands of years ago, and that they want to talk to you through encrypted puzzles, go for it. A benevolent species, looking to lead those to enlightenment, would have no problem making their message very clear, as I mentioned before.

Also, being new here, I would definitely suggest that before you sling accusations at someone of being right OR wrong, know that members on this forum expect you to provide proof.... it's a put up or shut up crowd.

Have fun with your alien friends! I hope you find enlightenment and unpack that missing 50% of your brain that they claimed you'll find when you meditate on the message on page 23... oh, and just make sure your DNA has some of theirs too, or you'll never solve it. LOL

~Namaste

To your original points, you seem to be stating,
1: The creators of this puzzle are not smart.
Therefore
2: They are not aliens.
With all respect, I don't think you've shown either.
You seem to have forgotten that I said I never thought they were aliens just because they say they are.
I understand how if you thought they were aliens, wanted to believe, got convinced otherwise, that you would feel trolled and be upset.
To 23 not being solved, you seem to have missed that the mirror image in the second clue is different; an M has been changed to an N. Many people think this is a clue that it has not been solved.
There's even a subreddit about this post and no one is buying it.
But heck, I'm new here, so why listen to me!
I really am sorry you're upset.

OP,

I have a request for you.

This is very simialr to the ARG game we are playing over in Mr Robot land. Mr Robot is a hacking show on USA network. Pretty fantastic if you ask me. The game however has been going on online for about 9 months now.

Asking for someone to join in an arg mid way is tough, but the tools you used are exactly what we have been using at the ARG. IF theres interest, pm me. WE could use some help as were stuck on the last couple puzzles. Didnt wanna hijack the thread

I joined ATS just to reply. Page 23 is not solved! Check the Reddit group if you don't believe me. The latest is an Arecibo-type message.

To be clear, I'm not saying this is "OMG Alienz!!", but in one of your previous posts you said the math could be done with a "pencil and paper." Oh really? You can do prime factorizations by hand? How quickly? What's your algorithm?

I'm upset about you misrepresenting the argument. And you completely ignore other portions of the ARG. The parts that are actually hard. Which makes me think you want people to look no further at this. Which makes me wonder what your motivation is.

Calculation of a nonrandom 10-14 character onion address - how would you do that with a pen and paper?

How would you hide calculations in the name of a god in a book thousands of years old?

As to your argument that the numbering of the verses came later and is therefore irrelevant: How is something that happened a thousand years ago irrelevant? Like what is your argument? If the creator of the puzzle was around a thousand years ago to influence the numbering of the verses, then wouldn't that make a stronger case for their claims? That being said, it's also (most of the time anyway) pretty easy to see where one verse ends and another begins. They start and stop at natural breaks... So if you were to know that one day the verses would be numbered, it wouldn't be that much of stretch to figure out how the numbering was gonna shake out.

These are just the easiest problems to debunk with your "debunking." I do want to state that I have no animosity towards you, and your stats state that you are a respected member of this community. I'm just some random n00by (here anyway), but I feel like knowledge and a well-constructed argument speaks for itself. Also I don't believe this is aliens (I kinda did at first, I WANT TO BELIEVE), but is probably some kind of recruiting tool for some Alphabet agency

Who doesn't love puzzles? I do, especially clever ones that depart from the normal convention.

Meet Tengri 137. Tengri 137 is a group that, similar to Cicada 3301 (but with a completely different purpose), published a series of puzzles and riddles to try and solve as a "test" of one's merit to be "chosen" as a messenger by supremely intelligent beings not from Earth.

...

Let's start with the message. "~~IT~IS~JUST~MATH~~". We are going to encode it in binary. That's going to look like the following:

"01111110 01111110 01001001 01010100 01111110 01001001 01010011 01111110 01001010 01010101 01010011 01010100 01111110 01001101 01000001 01010100 01001000 01111110 01111110"

We will remove the spaces and the result will be a long string of 1 or 0.

...

I have a simple question: Why - in this case, or in almost every single Hollywood movie that contains any sort of alien encoded message, would aliens use ASCII in the first place?

The 3rd character from the end is "H" - binary 01001000, decimal 72. There is no logic to the 20th character of the alphabet being encoded with value "72" outside of the specific ASCII table.

Yet, it's always just "Here's the message in binary!".

Personally, if I was to communicate with "other worlders", I'd settle for "A = 1, B = 2, ... T = 20".

There is of course the matter of the Latin alphabet having no particular meaning to aliens in the first place - with earthly Chinese and Japanese having written languages way different from the Latin alphabet, my guess is "written alien" would be more like the stuff in "Arrival".

In the end, it all boils down to the "We are evolved like crazy which means we really, really care about you, primitive earthlings. Here: Have the meaning of life and all good stuff! Peace out!" line of thinking - which requires aliens to communicate in a form that we would have a chance of understanding. That may explain any use of ASCII - but it all reeks a bit of "Cinema Sins".

I think people get all caught up in the fact "they are using Math to communicate" but are they not also using the periodic table of elements and the English language? So the only point of them making it into a mathmatical puzzle was so only intelligent people (who could understand english?) would get the message?

So the "aliens" only wanted to talk to English speakers? or am I misunderstanding this since they use runes which can be translated to any language?
