Maybe so. But obviously not working in this instance. We had forced integration in Boston too. Now the system doesn't work well for anyone. Guess it's pretty integrated though.

LWT had a good video on this. I hate telling people to just go watch videos but this one is worth it. It's entertaining and informative.

Honestly, I'm not really all that sure what the fix is. People move to higher class neighborhoods to get their children into better schools which in turn segregates people along income lines. Those with the means to go elsewhere do, and those who don't have to get by on what's left.

It's a hard issue to solve.

Simple solution have some students self identify as black. Think that easily destroys there quota system.
