FKA Twigs- Love Her or Hate Her?

Hi, I hope everyone is doing well!

FKA Twigs is an English songwriter, producer, director, dancer.. all around creative person I guess. I've noticed she's a very polarizing figure- people seem to either love her or hate her from the comments I've read over the past couple of years.

As for me, I love her. I don't dig all her songs but the ones I do, I absolutely love. I find her beautiful, sexy, captivating (I'm a woman though so not sure if guys agree.. don't care either, lol!) and talented. Love these songs I'm about to post.

I almost forgot to mention-she's dating mr sensitive heartthrob vampire Robert Patterson himself- could all the hate be from jealous love rivals

KInda pretty songs, but not my thing.

Curious though. Why did you say that they were NSFW or kids? There's no nudity and none of the dancing is anything truly racy. I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics, but nothing stood out.

Loved it and have listened to some of her other work. I've never been one to like a specific group and stay with it. Usually I bounce around from rock, metal, classical, blues..I just like a lot of different stuff. But, I do like her music.

Lol, the lyrics of Two Weeks are kinda sexual (and lots of bad language). Just thought I'd give a heads up cause I have two kids who would not be permitted to listen to her. (Yet.)

Thanks for checking it out, obviously we all have our different musical tastes so she won't appeal to everyone.

I honestly think she taps into the archeotype of female sensuality/sexuality. This is my opinion. Her work doesn't have the same effect on me as, for example, Nicki Minaj, where she is pushing everything right up into our business.. I guess I see FKA as more subtle and real. I mean, people really do have sex, and it really is a permissable and beautiful activity done right.

She's been with the same dude for years now so I don't see the sl.. thing..

In all seriousness, I just see FKA kind of doing her thing regardless of what sexy is supposed to look like. Which is why she isn't conventionally sexy (imo).
But I don't know..
I respect that she has delved in to all aspects of her craft (writing, producing, choreography, etc) which makes me think she's more of an artist than a product
